Resin surfaces can be installed directly over existing surfaces such as concrete and tarmac. As the only requirement, the current surface must be stable enough to support the resin surface on top. If the foundation has become too worn, the existing surface will need to be stripped away and a replacement base prepared. We recommend building a new base as it has a longer service life.
Yes. Resin surfacing should never be applied to concrete slabs, concrete blocks, or crazy paving. Specifically, this is because there are no uniform surfaces, rather, they are a combination of components that are susceptible to shifting. Any movement that causes a resin to crack will affect the integrity of your driveway.
No. Even in direct sunlight, our resin will not fade or change colour. The same eye-catching colours will be present in the resin driveway throughout its lifetime
